Lead, review, and control all Mill, Ore Flow & Lime Plant accounting and financial activities, to ensure the activities and expenditures are in line with company objectives and policies, and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAP), and ensure proper internal control and internal control compliance.
Job Responsibility : * Lead and control all Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant accounting and financial activities, ensure that Underground Mine activities and expenditures are in line with company objectives & policies and financial objectives are met.
- Develop and improve Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant accounting and financial system & procedures to enhance accounting productivity and efficiency to cover all operational requirements and in translating new contracts and other businesses practical changes in to accounting application.
- Lead and coordinate Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant budgeting process and ensure that Operating, Capital and Mine Production budgets are produced on timely manner, review/analyze all budgets to ensure the budgets are in line with stated company objectives and policies determined by senior management and prepare budget presentation to Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant Mine management and Senior Management.
- Review and analyze monthly, quarterly and yearly Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant expenditures to ensure the expenditures are in-line with stated objectives and policies determined by senior management, Monitor operational performance of operating activities for major violations of Company policies and procedures, and prepare monthly financial results presentation to Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant management and senior management.
- Analyze financial projections on current and future operating cost performance, including projections of monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year cost for Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant, identify major activities, major cost drivers, define management action steps as appropriate and perform special project assigned by Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant management and Finance & Accounting department.
- Lead the preparation of the daily, weekly, biweekly of Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant cost reporting for all Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant Superintendent and General Superintendents and monthly financial reporting for Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant management and senior management as their primary tool for evaluation of monthly financial performance and trends.
- Identify operational areas of concern when operating activities are not performing to the financial and operating expectations and provide explanations to senior management. Promote cost control awareness and responsibility throughout the operation and assist field operating managers in making informed decisions using relevant accounting and financial data.
- Conduct monthly financial results presentation and annual budget presentation to Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant management and senior management, to inform the up-to- date financial performance to management.
- Manage, review, and analyze all Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant cost allocations and third parties billing (invoices) and make sure all allocations and billing are accurate and properly calculated.
- Plan, develop, and execute proper internal control of Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant and Accounting & Financial activities, ensure the activities are in line with approved company policy and guideline and monitor internal control compliance.
- Quality control all reports and analysis done by Chief Accountant and Senior Accountant prior to send to management or other level of management, to ensure they are provided on an accurately and timely manner.
- Coordinate with Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant management and other relevant PTFI departments (MIS, Material Department, HRD, etc. ) to develop management cost reporting, address business problems and issues and understand all Mill, Ore Flow and Lime Plant activities, work programs and targets.
- Develop, coach, and motivate subordinate to enhance skill, knowledge and capability.
- Guide, monitor, and control the implementation of safety standards and procedures within work area to minimize accident and damage.
Minimum Education and Experience
- S1 (Bachelor) in Accounting with 7 years experiences in mining operation accounting and
- 10 years experience as supervisory capacity
- Excellent in English both oral and written.
- Computer skill.
- Self motivated and creative.
- Mining company experience.
