Job Description You Must Be :
- Logical thinker
- Development experience in Python, Javascript, HTML/CSS & mongo databases is beneficial
- Clear understanding of so linux environment is required
- Clear understanding of relational databases
- Clear understanding of software design patterns is beneficial
- Understanding of machine learning and statistics is an added advantage
We are looking for a person that is a technologist and loves all forms of technology and is willing to learn and can learn super fast, you must also be a logical thinker. This means they you must not be focused on one piece of development environment but can adapt and swap between various technologies, environments and tasks. These tasks can range from developing big data munging scripts, to development of backend applications, API’s and some front end development. We are looking for people that have a genuine love for software engineering and developing great products at break neck speed.
You do not need a computer science background even though a computer science/engineering background does give you an advantage. If you have a background in any form of engineering, physics or even finance and have a good background in math and have dabbled in code we would like to speak to you and see where you can fit into our team.
We like people that have a clear and logical way of thinking, can look at the future and even advise on new features and fixes that are needed on the dealoka platform. Tasks:
As a software engineer at Dealoka you will be working on a number of exciting core dealoka products that range from mobile , web, big data and even some RnD tasks. There will also be operational tasks that will need to be taken care of and you can float between those tasks. Since this is a startup you can get your hands into a lot of different areas and then slowly adapt into a given role that is suitable for you as well as for us.
