- Diagnose and address database performance issues using performance monitors and various tuning techniques.
- Configure and maintain database high availability.

- Hands-on maintenance and administration of Linux based systems.

- Adept with writing advanced queries.
- Knowledge of storage, servers, operating systems, and application interaction.
- Manage databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
- Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years experience as an database administrator working in progressively complex environments, especially with MongoDB.
- 2+ years experience in a Linux environment.
- 1+ years experience configuring and proactively managing secure database and application server environments
- Experience working with multiple operating system servers
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong experience with performance query tuning.
