What will you do:
- Supply and Demand Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and to use this analysis to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Procurement: You would have the authority to negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage relationships with vendors, and make decisions about which products and services to purchase.
- Warehouse and logistics: You would be responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, and transportation of goods, and would have the authority to make decisions about which warehouses to use, how to optimize the flow of goods, and how to transport goods in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Manufacturing: You would be responsible for allocating labor resources, tracking production schedules, and cost adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly and ensuring a productive manufacturing process that meets Standard Quality requirements
- Strategic planning: You would be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency, and would have the authority to make decisions about which suppliers to use, how to manage inventory, and how to allocate resources.
- Team management: You would likely be responsible for managing a team of supply chain and logistics professionals and would have the authority to hire, train, and evaluate team members, as well as make decisions about team structure and responsibilities.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, supply chain management, or logistics, is typically required for this role.
- Prior experience in supply chain management and logistics is typically required for this role, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Experience in construction, or in a similar industry, is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities, motivate team members, and make difficult decisions, are essential.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey information and ideas, are essential.
