An exciting opportunity has arisen for Sales Manager - Wedding to join our team; some of the key duties and responsibilities of this role are responsible for the development of the local and destination weddings market segment(s) and solicitation of new customer relationships while maintaining and servicing all Wedding events on property.
Continue building relationships with local wedding vendors and promoting our venues through these vendors for events.
Consistently striving to maximize revenue and promote relationships through effective negotiation of services and prices while assisting the Director in the management of the overall Sales Department.
Work Experience
Requirements:
- Previous hotel Sales Manager-Wedding experience required
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales and hospitality profession
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal and good presentation skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary for the success of the resort.
- Must be able to travel internationally frequently for sales calls or exhibitions
- Displays a proven ability in driving sales revenue
