As a cost control , you will be responsible for providing contract support, guidance and recommendations to the project delivery team to insure cost management and analysis across a portfolio of fast paced construction projects.
You will be involved in the full life cycle of construction projects while working with motivated experts from design, construction, procurement, finance and legal teams to deliver efficient and innovative data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections of capital expenditure
- Assess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure best price and specification
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
- Working seamlessly with multi-disciplinary teams, both internal and external
- Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures
- Engaging and managing third party Quantity Surveyor contracts
- Perform and manage tender activity scheduling and monitoring
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure that the company is receiving quality products at competitive prices
- Manage and coordinate complete financial cycle such as vendor purchase orders, cost proposals and invoices
- Assist in developing reporting tracking tools and generates cost reports on regular basis including evaluation of earned value
- Validating the final award amount and scope based on contract documents including schedule
- Supporting the construction team with project close-out and final payments
- Minimum Bachelors level in Engineering / Construction Management /
- Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting
- Good understanding and awareness of civil, mechanical & electrical
- Project Management qualification or training in the Engineering and
