Your Role and Responsibilities
The Country Marketing Leader for Indonesia is responsible for accelerating the growth of the IBM business in Indonesia by leading a newly formed marketing team by driving innovative and creative marketing campaigns to deliver unparalleled revenue and market share growth in Indonesia.

As the Country Marketing Leader, you will lead the orchestration and effective landing of marketing campaigns to achieve business outcomes and collaborate with sales to drive IBM eminence, grow signings, build new client relationships, strengthen brand reputation and generate demand for IBM products and solutions.

This role will also be responsible for:
  • Managing and leading a team of experienced marketers and building a high-performance culture
  • Providing the voice of customers when working with the business leadership team
  • Driving Indonesia’s growth agenda when collaborating with Asia Pacific or global marketing functions
  • Sourcing and partnering with agencies, 3rd party suppliers and industry associations
  • Managing and directing the country marketing budget and its spending priorities in accordance with IBM’s processes and procurement rules
  • Partnering with the Communications team to ensure both internal and external communications are well integrated with the marketing plans
  • Partnering with the business to showcase IBM value proposition differentiation and experiences relative to competitor offerings. Apply deep knowledge of audiences, ecosystem partners, IBM offerings and go-to-market strategies that drive exponential impact.
The Country Marketing Leader will need to work closely with the business, the ASEANZK (Australia, ASEAN, New Zealand and Korea), and the Asia Pacific Ecosystem Marketing teams.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum of 15 years of marketing experience in business technology setting, including at least 5 years of experience in managing a team at a mid-management level.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia’s economic trends, technology vendors and business industries
  • Understanding technology solutions and the competitive landscape is required
  • Client-Centricity / Understand the Buyer - Develop a deep understanding of a client set and their market in relation to a BU or Industry offering value proposition. Reset when changing Client or Offering scope.
  • Ability to work in tight collaboration with sales reps, business partners, and sales leaders to capture market demand and elevate the IBM brand.
  • Strong history of collaboration across marketing disciplines to create and optimize a programmatic approach–aligned with business strategy–to reach clients and partners.
