About the role
The Coordinator OHS is responsible for ensuring compliance of employees in implementing health, safety and quality system in the workplace.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, maintain and drive in implementation of Thiess Health, Safety and Respectful Workplace Policy and Procedure, Safety Management Plan into workplace
- Provide advice and assistance to the Project Management, Management OHS Team on the implementing Thiess Safety Essential and Health & Safety Standard and Procedure into workplace.
- Lead and drive to achieve the agreed Project OHS objectives, target and program.
- Proactively demonstrate in promoting, campaign One HSE Culture, advising and feedback on improving Safety behavior.
- Graduate in university, diploma or S1 degree, preferably in OHS or Public Health or others relevant background
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety Roles, and Supervisory levels preferable.
- Good knowledge in related to Occupational, Health & Safety theory and practical, familiar with and have good understanding on ISO 45001-2018, Implementation Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan (SMKP).
- Have skills in Health & Safety Inspection and Auditing Process. Certified Auditor ISO45001 - 2018 or SMKP preferable.
- Proficient in computer, English Language, Government regulation related to Health & Safety and their implementation
- Have capability to lead Incident Investigation Process and ICAM Certified is preferable.
- Strong understanding and implementation of Risk Management Process.
- Computer skills literate include database systems
