A Tax Manager job has become available at a leading retail company based in Jakarta. They are currently looking for a Tax Manager to join their existing team. In this business critical role, you will be responsible mainly for the end-to-end spectrum of tax matters.
About the Tax Manager Role:
This position will be a critical role as you will be the responsible person for timely taxation calculations and tax refunds. Based in Jakarta, reporting to CFO, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of an established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure tax compliance with tax regulations for all taxes (VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT, etc.) within the time frame
- Identify and mitigate tax risk
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
- Handle transfer pricing and understand international tax
- Work with tax advisers in providing practical solutions
- Be the key contact person to tax officers
- Support advisory to other department related to taxation and advise any new tax regulation that impacts the company's business to relevant parties in the company
- Ensure timely and correctness of tax invoice submission to customers
- Maintain tax reconciliation and tax balances on general ledger
- Prepare tax returns, timely submission and handle all information data requests
Key Requirements:
- University degree in finance/accounting/fiscal
- Accreditation in Brevet A, B and C is preferred
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong knowledge in local tax law and regulations
- Minimum of five to six years of experience in similar positions
- Experience in tax court and tax audits
