Work closely with the CEO/founders to build and drive the company to the next level. You will be in charge of building, organizing and managing the risk department. You will be responsible for developing innovative risk frameworks to enable funding of currently unbanked/underbanked SMEs, while safeguarding the quality of the loan portfolio.
- Credit Risk:
- Develop and constantly enhance innovative risk framework to underwrite SMEs including alternative data
- Drive automation of risk assessment and credit scoring process with help of technology and data team
- Set risk policies for new product launches and partners
- In charge of portfolio policy and analysis to constantly improve our underwriting process and achieve best-in-class risk-adjusted returns
- Manage credit underwriting, policy and collections teams
- Operational Risk:
- Responsible for running quarterly counterparty risk assessment procedure and report any adverse changes to key counterparties to founders
- Participating in quarterly IT security committee
- Proven ability to build and manage a risk team
- Strong understanding of risk drivers across consumers and SMEs
- Data driven and analytical decision maker
- Always pursuing to improve processes through automation and technology
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent ability to prioritize and communicate in a fast pace environment.

- 8-15 years work experience
- Prior experience in building and managing risk team in other financial institutions and prior experience in financial technology is a plus
