- Establishing and maintaining close working relationship with government agencies, primarily the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs; associations; and other relevant stakeholders
- Monitoring regulatory development and issues pertaining to carbon market/carbon trading to provide analysis and advice related to the impacts on the business
- Conducting policy advocacy in the carbon industry
- Developing and executing stakeholder engagement plans with government agencies and other stakeholders
The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (public policy, law, environment, etc)
- 5 years of work experience as a public policy/government relations lead in tech startups and/or environmental field/NGOs
- Good understanding of the carbon market and carbon trading mechanism
- Strong interest in the sustainability industry
- Close working relationship with the aforementioned ministries would be a huge advantage
