Job Description:
- Provide Leadership to the customs brokerage product and its teams.
- Responsible to align the organization and the clients to operate in compliance with the National and International customs regulation and policy framework.
- P & L Ownership along with Marketing, Sales, and Business Development.
- Ensuring the business process is effective and efficient in achieving goals/KPIs set by the organization, client, or regulatory bodies.
- Timely response to enquiries and RFQs
- Control timely clearance, collection/dispatch/delivery of cargo to optimize profitability.
- Negotiating optimum rates with logistics providers
- Timely resolution of complaints and escalations
- Maintaining and building close relationship with government bodies, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the BU will operate under EFL compliance policy guidelines.
- Maintain and monitor all licenses and permits are UpToDate
- Submit weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner (Job-status, activity, financial, etc.).
- At least 10 years’ previous work experience in similar role or capacity
- Has a vast knowledge about present Indonesian and International customs regulations.
- Possessing a customs license (PPJK Certification).
- Well-rounded knowledge of the customs tariff and customs system
- Experience in selling logistics and supply chain solutions.
- Post-secondary education either at the degree level or equalling to a degree
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Strong sense of responsibility and leadership skills are essential for this position.
- Computer literate (MS Office, CRM, ERP, RMS).
