- We are looking for a professional Chief Steward and Hygiene Manager to be responsible for total maintenance and sanitation in all food production service areas. Control storeroom orders and issue all china, silver and glass ware. Ensure all food and beverage outlets have sufficient equipment to perform adequately and adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of hazard identification, prevention and control, occupational health and safety issues
- Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same
- Understanding of food hygiene audits, analyzing health deficits in the environment and take necessary action to overcome problems and prevent and control risks
- Must be flexible in working hours subject to season and occupancy.
- Have an open personality and very good communication skills to provide goof inter-departmental and intra-departmental relationships
