MSI is a subcontractor to the Panagora Group in implementing in implementing the Indonesia Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Platform for USAID. The project supports the USAID Mission by providing a full range of monitoring and evaluation services to support learning and adaptive management.

Position Summary:
The Data Quality Assessment Specialist will support USAID/Indonesia’s data quality assessments for FY 2023 by reviewing documentation, conducting interviews and otherwise gathering information on how USAID’s implementing partners collect performance data and whether those procedures meet data quality criteria. The work will take place April, 2023- September, 2023. Up to 75 days LOE are authorized.
Responsibilities:
- Review documentation related to data collection practices of implementing partners
- Conduct interviews to further research data collection practices
- Assess data collection practices against five key data quality criteria
- Prepare report summarizing findings from data quality assessment, including providing recommendations on how data quality can be improved.
- Master’s degree in social sciences or equivalent experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required.
- A minimum five years experience working on monitoring and evaluation topics in international development required.
- Experience collecting and analyzing performance indicator data for international development projects required.
- Experience collecting qualitative data via interviews required.
- Experience working with USAID project(s) preferred.
- Experience writing reports for professional audiences required.
- English language fluency required.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia preferred.
