About StraitsX
StraitsX is the pioneering payments infrastructure for the digital assets space in Southeast Asia developed by Singapore-based FinTech Xfers, a Major Payment Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. StraitsX issues the Singapore dollar-denominated stablecoin (XSGD) and Indonesian Rupiah-denominated stablecoin(XIDR). StraitsX offers personal and business accounts to mint and redeems StraitsX stablecoins, manages payments as well as connects their accounts to digital asset platforms. Business accounts can also access B2B API-enabled payments rails for digital asset platforms.
Responsibilities
- Technical hands-on in fixing technical issues and challenges that might occur
- Have the confidence and great technical knowledge in leading teams and making decisions
- Ability to measure and reflect on personal results and impact
- Lead and align team members to meet corporate goals and KPIs
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, development, application debugging and diagnosis
- Be an active partner for Product management by communicating product vision to team members, and driving future roadmaps, setting engineering priorities, and tracking progress.
- Fostering technical skill development and professional growth of team members using coaching and hands-on learning
- Ability to get up to speed with new systems and concepts quickly. Keen to constantly learn and improve your own skills, and not afraid to jump into new things.
- Contribute to the larger organization's culture and processes, working with your peers to create an innovative and supportive environment

- Passionate about fintech/blockchain/cryptocurrency
- You are someone who enjoys managing people and driving impact through teams. and have experience in engineering management that can give your talents challenges aligned to their aspirations.
- Mature and self-starter with plenty of initiatives taken, who can communicate complex technical, logical, or process issues in a timely, concise, and objective manner
- Significant background in architecting and designing systems, tools, and frameworks used by other engineers and proven ability to lead high-performing technical teams.
- Ability to make considered recommendations for trade-offs in a rapidly changing environment
- Fluency with Jira, Notion, and Git
