That's why we need a talented Business Development Manager to help our organisation grow.

Requirements:

At Cadmus, we're doing a lot of great work rapidly to create a profound impact on our world through the power of education. With Cadmus currently being used in 50+ countries, we're looking for a Business Development Manager who is passionate about identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, and developing and executing plans to pursue those opportunities successfully.

Reporting to the Head of New Partnerships, our Business Development Manager will:
  • Increase sales and revenue to exceed targets with an ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Build strong, long-term and genuine relationships with existing and potential customers, and find ways to develop strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to ensure Cadmus grows and achieves its goals by identifying new markets and developing new offerings.
  • Through market research, identify and evaluate new business opportunities to determine whether they are viable and worth pursuing.
  • Negotiate licences and contracts with potential customers or partners, and support the licence renewal process.
Professional Experiences:
  • Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from a top University.
  • You have experience working in the field of Technology or Education-Technology at a leading global technology provider, unicorn or startup.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in sales or a related field, such as customer success, business development, or management consulting.
  • You have experience selling enterprise software products to sophisticated customers.
Professional Skills:
  • Exceptional English communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills with an ability to understand customer needs and concerns and to present information in a way that is persuasive and compelling.
  • Sales skills with an ability to identify sell, upsell and cross-sell opportunities to customers.
  • Emotional intelligence with the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and recognise and respond to the emotions of others.
  • Problem-solving skills with an ability to identify and creatively resolve customer problems.
  • Deep industry knowledge with an ability to understand our industry and the broader higher education sector.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service and go above and beyond to meet the needs and expectations of customers.

This role is open to remote candidates based in Indonesia.
