The primary role is to understand our customers and help them to shape the future of their businesses using Google Cloud’s technology. As a Sales Manager, you will help to lead Aliz and GCP as a technology enabler for business innovation.
You will educate and introduce GCP to our customers, drive awareness in the ecosystem, and leverage and build a strong relationship with Google sales reps in Southeast Asia. You will manage prospective customers and stakeholders, but also play a crucial role in the relationship with the Google Cloud Team. We expect you to grow a successful pipeline for our professional, reselling, consulting, and product and managed services pillars while maintaining a best-in-class customer experience.
You will be responsible for
- Cloud Strategy and Consultancy
- Be able to develop strategies for lead generation and create high-value opportunities across organizations.
- Develop a plan for hitting the target at the beginning of the year, maintain it on a quarterly basis, and ensure you have an action plan for identifying new business to support this.
- Assess customer objectives and business requirements to develop a cloud strategy and implementation roadmap that are aligned with those goals.
- Understand the needs of potential customers and help them to build a strong ROI for GCP, adapt their needs to the cloud journey, and transition them to the cloud.
- Identify appropriate milestones and KPIs to measure success and to further refine the customer’s cloud strategy.
- Provide a single view into all the customer’s GCP projects, acting as a primary focal point for technical questions, ideas, and issues.
- Coordinate communications between Aliz, Google, and the customer regarding the customer’s cloud environment.
- Implementation Management
- Provide ongoing guidance around the execution of the cloud implementation roadmap,
- Offer proactive best practice advice on cloud architecture and procedures, engaging with Aliz subject matter experts (CE, Architects, Seniors, Management) for an in-depth review.
- Lead regular meetings to help projects stay on track toward setting milestones, answer questions, resolve identified issues, and find a new solution that maximizes the customer’s experience and helps their business to succeed.
- Manage technical support escalations and coordinate with Aliz subject matter experts to help address technical inquiries related to GCP products/projects.
- Advocacy and Thought Leadership
- Engage with new customers, and decision-makers of all levels, including C-Level executives.
- Engage with customer executives in regular reviews to assess progress against their cloud strategy roadmap and plan for subsequent quarterlies.
- Identify customer product needs and advocate for feature requests with Aliz’s Product Engineering teams.
- Facilitate access to exclusive Google events, quarterly roadmap sessions, and other forums.

- Expertise, not just selling to, or through, but also in tracking all phases of customer onboarding and being an integral part of their success.
- Demonstrable experience and success in direct sales, especially in a strategy, consultancy, or sales-type role.
- Ability to sell solutions in the Enterprise/Corporate sector and multiple industries: Travel, Aviation, E-commerce, Retail, etc.
