Job Responsibilities:
- Initially accountable for the execution of the Green / Brown Field project Process, Utilities, Material & People flow
- Manage the relationship with the Engineering and General Contractor on site
- Accountable for the on-time, on-budget and safe execution of the project
- Manage the Project Team and General Contractor on site
- Negotiation with contractors
- Implement and apply appropriate project monitoring tools
- Support project management in contingency and resource planning
- Accountable for creation of project documentation
- Responsible for coordinating activities related to the application for and approval of statutory local authority Planning Approvals required for the project
- Chairs summary project meetings and ensures all other necessary specialist meetings are held as required
- Responsible for procurement, contract strategy, and the selection of contractors & suppliers, Negotiate and Lead Tender Processes in consultation with India Director
- Responsibility for managing the project within the approved funds
- Responsible for ensuring each Project Engineering Team members full involvement during the development of the project and during its implementation
- Review the performance of 3rd party contractors and implement corrective action to optimize their involvement.
- Min 10 years in project management role, with prior experience in Industrial of manufacturer/resources/mining/energy
- Experienced in both greenfield and brownfield projects
- At least 5 years at a managerial level with proven experience leading, growing and developing a team
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
- Willingness to travel and must be comfortable with working in remote sites
