Our client is seeking a professional with eight years of experience in financial accounting from an automotive company for the job of Accounting Manager. The job is based in Lombok, Indonesia.
Job responsibilities :
- Direct reporting to the Owner
- Responsible for maintaining accounting records such as profit and loss accounts, ledger accounts, and the balance sheet of the company
- Supervise all operations in the accounting and finance of the company including budgeting, forecasting, assessing risks and ensuring all accounting activities comply with good accounting practises and tax regulations inline with the policy
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
- Summarise current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Guide accounting admin staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
- Provide technical support and advice on management
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Plan, assign, and review staff's work
- Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Working experience at Managerial level for more than 8 years
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with local taxation regulations
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
