When you join Caterpillar Indonesia Batam as Training Consultant, you will mainly be responsible for investigate, evaluate, develop and implement training programs to meet changing and evolving needs of the Caterpillar Indonesia Batam.
As the Training Consultant, you will:
Identifies and prioritizes specialized technical and/or higher-level management training needs and recommends education and/or training solutions.
Establishes training program requirements and obtain support for these programs.
Selects and purchases materials, services and evaluation methods to assure training needs are satisfied.
Serves as an instructor or facilitator of training programs in management development, workplace literacy or technical training areas that require extensive background experience and expertise in the subject matter.
Coordinates staff, vendor, consultant and community training services.
Trains manufacturing and office instructors and coordinates related training as needed.
May supervise the day-to-day activities of other training staff, trainees, or apprentices.
The successful candidate must bring:
Fluency in English and have good communication skills.
Bachelor's degree from Engineering, Psychology or related major.
Minimum of 5 (five) years of job-related experience in training and development from similar industries.
Skilled and experienced in instructional or learning design and eLearning system.
Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
Strong data analytical and visualization.
Top candidates will also bring:
Have experience in managing Leadership Development or Talent Succession programs.
Certified in Learning or Coaching e.g., Training of Trainer (BNSP).
In-depth technical and/or management expertise in manufacturing, fabrication or heavy machinery industries.
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Job requires extensive active movement throughout plant including but not limited to climbing stairs and steps, lifting of devices and pushing and pulling of equipment.
