- Manage and lead the manufacturing team to meet goals, ensuring administrative effectiveness through performance reviews, corrective actions, and adherence to rules and regulations.
- Take the initiative and manage the production facility to guarantee timely, complete, and accurate product releases at a reasonable cost without sacrificing safety.
- Act as the program's leader and enforce compliance with company and local laws while ensuring worker safety.
- Manages Production HSE activities and programs to satisfy business and regulatory needs. evaluates new and current programs to determine their applicability and the need for modifications.
- Assist in driving continual improvement in product quality and productivity as well as performance in sustainability targets by providing leadership and control for Production Sustainability programs.
- In conjunction with other departments and according to policies, safety, and compliance, the coach guides and mentors the team through the manufacturing process.
- In charge of managing the shop floor to achieve daily, monthly, and annual goals.
- Use best practices and communicate them to the worldwide production team.
- Organize interactions and communications with government organizations, including information requests, audits, inspections, and enforcement actions.
- Support the standards for ISO certifications
- Create and carry out a multi-year plant investment plan with the assistance of business partners and executives.
- Minimum 10+ years of manufacturing-related leadership experience Preferably with prior plant management experience
- Priority given to experience in the consumer packaged goods sector.
- Exhibited leadership in safety efforts that promote a culture of zero injuries.
- A demonstrated history of comprehending and utilizing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and/or Lean Six Sigma ideas and techniques, which are all part of continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
