- The Manager is responsible for the overall control and supervision exploration activities, contractors, and associated geological reporting, quality control and compliance with required standards and data management.
- The Manager is required to review and advise on various due diligence requirements of various merger and acquisition targets, including planning site visits and follow up geology exploration assessments.
- This position also is responsible for areas under exploration that have not been assigned to mine planning.
- Our Manager will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of geology services across the companies resource, exploration, mine portfolios and acquisition targets in Indonesia.
- At least 10 years in Nickel mining industry Indonesia or Asia in similar roll.
- A strong understanding of geological settings.
- Software knowledge and applications such as ArcGIS, Mapinfo, Vulcan, Surpac, Minescape.
- Building, submitting explorations programs and associated budgets.
- Team location and advise management on restructure requirements.
- Having the CPI certification
- Qualification and member of AUSIMM in respect to JOCR reporting is preferred but not a prerequisite.
