About the Company:
Our Client is a leading MNC retail company with extensive outlets and a strong presence in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Collection team to build a successful product line which satisfies consumer requirements, and results in the profitable operations of the company
- Work closely with the Product Development and Manufacturing teams to continuously improve collection (designs, quality and value) and maximize SKU’s productivity
- Maintain contact with consumers and retail operations to understand changes in the market, competition and products.
- Generate baseline forecast - understand historical sales, past assumptions, demand drivers, statistical tools /models, demand planning strategies (by class).
- Create consolidated demand plans by reconciling demand based on OP feedback; support short and medium term capacity plans.
- Assess and incorporate demand drivers (e.g. market conditions, promotions), market substitution and SKU cannibalization when preparing and/moderating forecast
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- At least 3-5 experience in Retail industry is mandatory
- Prior experience as Merchandising Manager within Retail industry is a must
- Well established planning skills and an ability to take a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Ability to demonstrate commerciality involving current trends and forecasting future trends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, managing conflict and influencing others
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
