General Purpose:

Plans and performs technical activities to service the customer independently directly or through customer interface.

Main Responsibility Areas:

Plans and executes technical tasks according to given tasks, along with existing processes and instructions. Works with the responsibility of responding to customer problems directly or through internal customer interface. Solves technical problems.

Key Tasks:
  • Works typically in several technology areas with intermediate to advanced skill level or with one technology area at an advanced skill level.
  • Creates implementation plan and technical infrastructure document.
  • Contributes to gathering customer requirements, Contributes to migration procedures.
  • Contributes to knowledge documentation in various tools like Sharepoint, ShareInside, Yammer, ShareNet, discussion forums.
  • Works autonomously and effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Has in-depth business knowledge and uses understanding of how relevant areas integrate to achieve objectives.
  • Uses advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems or problems that do not have routine solutions and takes a new perspective.
  • Shares initial ideas for professional direction of own organisational unit.
  • Acts as a professional advisor and mentor for staff/work team/taskforces.
  • May lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements or small teams, handles day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work.
  • Independently works within broad guidelines and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues.
  • Works with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.
  • Transfers concepts for professional direction of own organisational unit into actionable measures.
  • Provides working leadership and training to less experienced personnel.
  • May lead in Country/National or Market Unit level a specific projects and virtual teams with medium risks and resource requirements Pre-Sales, Project Initiation/Planning phase.
  • Technical and site solution content support to Deploy Product Management (Deploy Services Portfolio sales/Global Sale Services) for project tender and preparation. Local country/project knowledge and Site Engineering expertise. Participation on customer pre-sales workshops as Senior Site Engineering Subject Matter Expert. Up-sell opportunity identification and portfolio promotion.
  • Support Project Delivery Manager in project preparation during project planning phase by providing site workflow process and site engineering expertise.
  • Finalize site solution technical design (Model Sites) for project implementation according to Technical and Services solutions agreed with customer. Collaborate with Deploy SPS and if needed co-ordinate NPO, SA and CW input to ensure proper technical site solution. Delivery phase.
  • Leading project ramp-up activities from Deploy Site Engineering side.
  • Creates, updates and amends site solution technical designs and installation planning guidelines for project implementation during delivery. If needed co-ordinatesServices Portfolio sales, RN PPS, TM, NPO, SA and CW input to ensure proper technical solution.
  • Manages Site Material Manager and project logistics in preparing project product and material requirements and demand plans.
  • Works with Project Delivery Manager in customer interface to agree site technical solutions and specifications for project works. Technical interface for site engineering issues in project. When needed, interface with customer relating to implementation and site solutions issues.
  • Definition of site survey documentation, site-specific documentation, implementation guidelines, share of responsibilities, site activities and acceptance process in collaboration with Project Delivery Manager and Technical Manager.
  • Monitor change notes and technical documents to be applied and shared with project and subcontractors. Acts on changes in project requirements or specifications.
  • Ensures telecom Implementation is completed according to Nokia site processes, NOLS and site engineering guideline documentation. Including technical training and competence development activities for subcontractors.
  • If requested, executes above-mentioned activities in other support-site/country.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Telecommunication Engineering
  • Good understanding on Telecommunication and IT knowledge
  • Excellent English and communication skills
Customer service orientation

Strong problem solving skills

Willing to work under pressure and deadline

Familiar with Nokia Radio product 2G/3G/4G
