- Reporting to the Group Management, you will be responsible for the performance and continuous improvement of the Refinery, focusing on key areas of Management, Maintenance, Production and Financial Accountability
- Manage overall production planning activities & quality control work to achieve the targeted production
- Overall Unit operational functions reduce operating costs & greater profitability
- Plan & control factory operational functions (production, quality, maintenance finance, procurement, HR, logistics, sales)
- Generate reports for the top management displaying planned v/s achieved performance and highlighting areas for necessary decisions / actions to be taken and suggestions in the form of Corrective & Preventive Action
- Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity
- Oversee areas of controllable variable costs, energy efficiency, catalyst performance and process safety
- Responsible for ensuring that the refinery and deliverables are incorporating the overall reliability requirements for assets and operations set by Group Management
- Must possess a Degree/Masters in a relevant Engineering
- At least 8-10 years of prior experience serving within a Refinery, Fraactionation, Biodiesel Processing Plant
- Must have strong experience in a similar role with good knowledge of current practices, codes of conducts and procedures
- Must have a good command of spoken and writen English, and be assertive and confident in nature.
- Good understanding of investment project end results impact on production and its processes (lifecycle thinking)
- Good management and leadership skills, understanding need of cross-functional co-operation
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, project work skills and ability to work under stress
- Willing to be located in Bontang, East Kalimantan
