YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable as 1st layer of site interface with supplier in material procurement business process
- Ensure material availability according to the production schedule.
- Maintain inventory at optimum levels
- Plan and coordinate timely release of the material
- Collect, measure and analyze key performance indicator variables periodically
- Actively search for improvement idea and propose solution to increase efficiency, productivity and quality
- Interact with appropriate functions i.e., Ops, Quality, Controlling, L&C, TSM
- Support production planning team in resolving issues regarding the production plan
- Regularly aligning ongoing projects and initiatives across material planning team (both RM and PM)
- Coordinate and supervise material planning support to ensure tactical work-packages are strictly adhered
- Lead the team member to continuously update material planning business process in order to identify OFIs, define project improvement plan and execute the improvement plan following DMAIC model
- Optimize SAP system usage within the whole business process and leverage the digital transformation in a smaller business process environment
- Regularly collect, measure and analyze inventory level against demand figure to identify economic order quantity for each material group based on a risk-based approach
- Define long term strategy in packaging sustainability align with global emerging trend
- Bachelor's Degree level education in General Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experiences: 3-7 years of experience in a Supply Chain function
- Demonstrated success in the supply chain function.
- Key experience would also include working within a customer-facing and vendor-facing model.
- Demonstrated success interfacing with customers and vendors
- Able to work with all functions in a team
- Strong facilitation, influencing and team-building skills
- Demonstrated leadership skill
- Excellent Supply Chain planning capabilities including exposure to global planning and initiatives
- Excellent process development capabilities
- Strong working knowledge of ERP platforms, specifically SAP for MM, PP and APO modules
- Strong capability to understand manufacturing processes
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Self-motivated
- Continuous and versatile learner
