Job Description
Purpose:
- Develop a strong relationship with channel partners/key farmers in his area
- Implement and execute campaign plans in his area and achieve agreed sales and collection targets in accordance with the strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate with demand creation in his area to maximize the use and satisfaction with Syngenta products and services in his area.
- Implement marketing programs and trial planning for his area in line with Syngenta Vegetables Seeds strategy for Indonesia to maximize sales/growth potential
- Analysis of area to define potential and allocate resources to optimise Syngenta Veg Seeds trial plan
- Conduct and monitor pre-commercial demos for new and existing products to fast track launch of New Products.
- Regularly coordinate with demand creation team for effective deployment of resources and execution of campaign plans and reach area consumption targets
- Provide timely and accurate feedback on market, channel and grower insights.
Essentials Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Agriculture.
- Preferred 2-3 years experience within sales or marketing, preferably in vegetable seeds.
- Strong trialing background with good knowledge of channel management, crops, crop protection products, seeds and competition.
- General trends in agriculture, including customer and competitor activity.
- In depth knowledge of Syngenta’s and competitor’s products and offers.
- English language skills would be good to have.
- Willing to travel extensively to meet with customers and demand creation leads.
