The Opportunity
Responsible for the management of the business unit and directing the business to ensure effective and profitable operation and growth. Accountable to Indonesia and Regional management for formulation and execution of current and long-term objectives, review and implementation of the business unit’s operating plans, policies and operational controls.
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct reports as required, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall country strategy, that their performance is satisfactory and that they are taking the necessary action continually to develop their capability as business leaders
- Contribute to and participate in Aon Indonesia senior executive group, committees, ad hoc project teams and other bodies as necessary.
- Key leadership role in the design and delivery of client and revenue growth plans for Health solutions team.
- Be the voice of Aon Client Promise across the Health solutions units.
- Work with Aon regional Health solutions Leaders to create geographic growth plans and align these with local growth plans and strategies in Indonesia.
- Develop and maintain a market leading client relationship model and build upon new business relations.
- Work with BU Leaders to create sustainable divisional growth plans, execute local market planning (LMP) and oversee the management of Aon Connect disciplines.
- Provide formal review and sign-off and approval of all major bids and tenders across specialty team.
- Develop and co-lead strategies to win new large accounts.
- Drive business development best practice, including industry research and local market planning (LMP).
- Drive improvement by providing thought leadership on client and commercial issues as well as developing talent and capability within business units.
- Manage & supervise the team on a day to day client servicing and operations.
- Establish processes and measures for monitoring and maintaining standards of business conduct consistent with Aon’s Code of Business Conduct.
- Implement a sustainable Target Operating Model and associated organisational design
- Implement and ensure full utilization of our proprietary tools and technologies
- Align Health solutions Indonesia with country and regional APAC sales initiatives
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Experience in market & strategy and business development roles within the financial services industry
- Understanding of Indonesia market
- Understanding of Health solutions client network with strong commercial mindset
- Good communication skills with ability to present, negotiate and influence at HR and C suite level with clients
- Effective people management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven track record in delivering creative solutions in deal negotiation, to deliver new business opportunity aligned to client need
