Job Description

The Scrum Master is primarily responsible for shifting and transforming the mindset of the organization to become more agile. Scrum Master will educate and mentor all levels of the organization to use agile techniques and foster an agile mindset. An scrum master must be able to provide servant leadership whilst fostering a cohesive squad environment. Scrum Masters are also in charge of conflict managements throughout squads as well as for driving agile maturity in an organization.

Responsibilites:
  • Guides the team and organization on how to use agile practices methodologies
  • Coaches the team; facilitates transparent and adaptive team culture
  • Coordinate sprints, grooming, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Supports product owner on release planning and backlog management
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration inside and outside the team
  • Manage cross team dependencies, help identify and remove impediments, and escalate when necessary.
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Implements Agile process, principles and practices across all levels of the team and organization
  • Fosters self-organization and growth within the team
  • Generates agile mindset in team through conversations, coaching, and role-playing exercises
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Create the sprint report and documentation about the team progress to make it visible to the entire team, product owner, and all the stakeholders
2-5 years of experience in agile development, with specific scrum master or similar experience preferred

  • Ability to coach team on agile practices and ensures adherence to agile methodology to deliver maximum business value on time
  • Has a natural talent to listen and understand people
  • Able to communicate clearly and confidently
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Loves to work in a team and interact with new stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to teach and guide others as well as support other ideas
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple, complex projects
Nice to have skills:
  • Past developer experience (preferably in agile setup)

  • Experience in Agile way of Working, Scrum and Project Management
  • Confident and skilled at navigating the team through road-blocks to allow sprints to be completed on time
