About the department
The Rare Disease team is a new team in Novo Nordisk Indonesia and we are expected to become a highly motivated team, independent yet providing close collaboration with other internal stakeholders. We will educate our customers on Novo Nordisk’s products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty, and business ethic. The position
As Rare Disease Specialist, you are the front-line interface with healthcare professionals to discuss the benefits and features of Novo Nordisk’s products.
-You have a designated territory to be responsible for and accountable for the financial and non-financial targets of your responsible territory.
-You are given autonomy to conduct a territory business plan, suggest and discuss relevant action plans with your Manager, and implement the agreed action plan in collaboration with marketing and colleagues within the function effectively to drive the overall financial and non-financial performance of your responsible territory.
-You are accountable for maintaining up-to-date information on customers and the competitive landscape and reporting all the information into the company’s system on time. You are required to actively take part in exhibitions, symposiums, and congresses (targeting both healthcare professionals and patient associations) as needed, in order to drive high awareness of disease management and knowledge of products and to strengthen the customer relationship.
Qualifications
-You hold a minimum bachelor’s degree in science (preferably medical or pharmacy) and have a strong interest in Sales Process
-You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Hematology and Oncology (experience in Hemophilia Disease will be a benefit), managing Hemato-Oncology Medic and Pediatric Hematology healthcare professionals, and familiar with Indonesia Hemophilia society/Himpunan Masyarakat Hemofilia Indonesia (HMHI) experience in Sulawesi area, mainly in Makassar.
-You should have strong ethical conduct, be a self-starter, be highly engaged and positive, dynamic, and be result-driven with excellent networking abilities.
-Report directly to Rare Disease Business Unit Manager you should be working with minimum supervision and can build a strong relationship with a key stakeholder.
