- Ensure efficient and smooth operation for the Ocean freight department, both for ocean export & ocean import.
- Ensure service standards are met with all vendors.
- Response to RFQ/Rates Request, Procure freight rates, space & services from the most suitable carriers and maintaining professional relationship with all carriers.
- Maintain professional & effective business communication with network offices in connection with their inquiries aiming at converting every inquiry into business as well as finding resolutions.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers.
- Ensure Timely monthly closing of all airfreight jobs and proper filing.
- Managed and build up consolidations sectors/lanes.
- Maintain good relations with all customers and ensure good customer services.
- Ensure profitability for businesses secured with regular review with management.
- Develop more Ocean freight business
- Any other official duties assign by Senior management.
- Report to Head of Ocean freight
- Meet all KPI's assigned.
