A well-established health-tech firm has been expanding their business team and are looking for a talented candidate to lead the category team for both acquisition and partnership functions in a Category Manager job.
About the Category Manager Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of Business, you will be responsible for handling the partnership acquisition function than the partner management while still being in charge to manage both teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement long-term development strategies for product categories
- Identify revenue growth engine and propose monetization strategy
- Develop revenue and growth numbers beyond targeted plan while managing and improving margin
- Enhance and grow all company's products by providing and searching for insights into consumer needs and wants
- Acquiring new clients and maintain existing clients - manage and grow relationship with existing clients to create and strengthen long term partnerships
- Conduct competitors intelligence and market research to find opportunities for new product/features/programmes
- Supervise production and strategist team to create and execute marketing plan
- Work closely with the Growth and Strategy team to create new inventories and proposal for clients
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three or four years working in fast-paced start-ups or e-commerce businesses
- Experience working in parenting or mom and baby companies are a great plus
- People management experience is mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of category and partnership management processes
- Hands-on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts
- Analytical, strategical, and critical thinker
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
