- Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments; providing report on the impacts to the organization
- Organizing gatherings with government officials to gather ideas and exchange information on business activities and potential policy change/issues that may affect the organization
- Managing and overseeing appropriate execution strategies in relation to permits/licenses/approvals/reporting of the business
- Ensuring that external engagement works as well as contents are aligned with company strategies
- Representing the company in relevant external engagement to ensure interests are represented and protected
- Providing direction for project and service management, people management. vendor and budget management
- Working in coordination with GR team in the Head office as well as the Regional GR Team
The successful candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in palm oil or plantation company
- Work experience in multinational company would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge regarding palm oil-plantation permits, HGU, and relevant policy issues
- Has good working relationship with the Ministry of ATR/BPN, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Trade
- Fluency in verbal and written English
- Proven analytical and strategic thinking as well as crisis management skills
