As a Senior Sales Manager Oilfield Industrial Chemicals , you will be spearheading the approach for sales growth in the National Oil Company Downstream and Midstream Chemicals market, and substantially grow the business in line with the significant capital growth being invested into the region. Responsible for activities and processes that help the Downstream and Midstream Chemicals organization achieve business objectives. Develops midterm vision on own function.
You will be responsible for:
Lead and drive the Sales team and activities pro-actively for all existing and potential opportunities within the Indonesian Oilfield Industrial Chemicals (OIC) market
Develop strong relationships with strategic Energy Sector customers, both end-users and targeted channel partners
Investigate supply chain solutions to the local geography to increase commercial competitiveness and enhance continuity.
Deliver as a minimum the financial plan as submitted and agreed during the planning cycle and sequentially grow Indonesia and adjacent countries as required.
Marketing specifically. Understanding it and positioning us to win.
Control and have full accountability for the participation and data recorded in the company designated e CRM platform and tools, lead for commercial planning, ITO processes, ITO lead for business reviews for Singapore and adjacent countries as required.
Ensure that opportunities for the growth and development of the OIC business are properly identified and recommendations made to senior management for their exploitation.
Monitor and track industry news sources to evaluate new opportunities, track existing opportunities and take action accordingly.
Oversee and carry out studies, evaluations, budget estimates and tendering for target projects and contracts as required to achieve customer deadlines either autonomously or using relevant support personnel, including deciding tender strategies
Prioritise and guide activities of in-house technical support or 3rd party external consultants to deliver value proposals to our client base in support of sales opportunities
Engage with area business development, technical and general management at the appropriate time, to ensure smooth transition of sales efforts into successful project award.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
BSc in Chemistry or equivalent as minimum qualification
Minimum 5 years operational & sales experience in Oilfield Industrial Chemicals business / Chemicals to the Oil and Gas industry
Requires detailed knowledge and understanding of the Oilfield Chemicals business.
Strong existing relationships with Oil and Gas customers (Upstream/Downstream) in Indonesia essential.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good personal discipline, planning and organizational skills.
Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment.
Willing to travel within APAC in support of business opportunities.
