Economist – Inter-regional Social Accounting Matrix
The Role
Prospera seeks an economist to assist our expert in developing the inter-regional social accounting matrix based on 2019 data or, if possible, more recent. The economist will conduct data processing and analysis as well as provide technical expertise in the quantitative method. The economist will also help develop the IRSAM development documentation to ensure users are aware of its caveats.

About You
The Economist will possess strong qualifications and experience to deliver the expected outputs:
- Tertiary qualifications in Economics. PhD or Masters degree with research publication developing an Inter-Regional Social Accounting Matrix modelling is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a track record of economic analysis using social accounting matrix.
- Knowledge and experience working on the Indonesian economy, with Indonesian and international policymakers, are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in Indonesian and English (both written and oral), including advocacy and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to write a concise report in Indonesian and English.
- Ability to work under strict time limits and apply high production and technical standards for the purpose of maintaining a high level of professionalism.
The remuneration will be set according to National Remuneration Framework Group C, Job Level 2. This position open for Indonesian nationals. The remuneration level at which the position is engaged will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant skills and experience. This is a short -term position.
