We are looking for Principal Enterprise Architect position who will ensure the alignment between IT and business. The person will lead the process of strategic planning and design of IT capability in PMI in order to meet company business objectives and realize vision statements
Your 'day to day'
- Advisor for data analytics implementation and use cases to the board of management
- Capturing all business challenges and translate it to the data analytics project pipeline
- In close collaboration with other IT and business stakeholders, co-create concrete, robust and appropriate architectures and transition roadmaps for implementation.
- Responsible to create, maintain and own regional data analytics roadmap
- Driving feedback cycle on the global solution from markets/regions
- Responsible to align with the business user to support their business strategy & monitor the benefit realization from each data and analytics projects
- Align with global organization in the implementation of data literacy in the region and market level
- Govern function-wide data initiatives; improve and maintain data quality and make function-specific data decisions and manage change
- Align with PMI IT Architecture principals and best practices
- Lead and drive technology architecture outcomes that meets business objectives.
- Own, Define and lead the technology architecture roadmap & development of analytics platform capabilities
- Co-lead development of analytical platform capabilities on behalf of business and identify business opportunities within regional or market functions that can be leveraged via analytics technology portfolio to deliver value at scale.
- Represent EA&DS team in the PMI architecture community network by providing innovative ideas and recommendations to enterprise architecture strategies & artifacts, based on domain area expertise
- Advocate and promote findings from the best approaches within software development and industry.
- Ensure accurate quality instructions and control process are created and implemented for the technology platforms and products
- Minimum 10 years of experience from design and implementation of data analytics projects
- Proven Experience with technology architecture design and delivery (Platform driven);
- Strong track record in applying industry standard policies and procedures
- Exceptionally Strong cloud technology background with sound understanding of Solution Architecture design principles
- Experience with design and development of analytic platforms that support both BI and Data Science (ML/AI) capabilities using best of breed tools and technologies
- Proven working experience with software design/ architecture patterns and strong understanding of backend integration technologies and patterns.
- Excellent business partners management skills with the ability to translate technical complexities into business-friendly language
- Strategic ability to relate the current technology and application landscape to the evolving business needs and identify the gaps
- Understanding of modern data architectures, data extract mechanisms, functional decomposition, and business rules engines
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills from a business perspective
- Good interpersonal, leadership, organizational and project management skills
- Evangelist and Advocate for “technology as an enabler” across the organization.
- Knowledge about BI and Big DATA ecosystems (S3, Scala, Spark, Python, CI/CD framework)
- Maintains awareness of trends, best practices and standards for the industry
- Provides leadership and mentorship to less experienced personnel
- Working experience with AWS, MuleSoft, Kafka, Docker Containers, Jenkins, Artifactory, MLFlow, Sagemaker (or similar), EMR (or similar), Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools and methodologies is a plus
- Experience with SAFe methodology is a plus;
- Experience with SCRUM and/or following an agile approach
