F&B Administrative Coordinator
This position is for a passionate F&B individual who will support operations in the field while ensuring administrative tasks are accurately completed.
What you will be doing:
- Assist hands-on in F&B operations as well as with administrative tasks
- Operational assistance may include all outlets in different roles
- Special event planning and servicing
- Flexibility in working different shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
- Ensure appropriate guest communication, including resolution of guest concerns while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Print BEOs and maintain current BEO standard
- Ensure daily compliance of F&B reports and checks
- Track and process F&B invoices
- Process and maintain orders through ordering system
- Assist with DW requisition and process the administration
- Ensure reconciliation at month-end, including follow up on invoices and complete inventory.
- Assist with scheduling system
- Maintain accuracy of menus, advertisement online, and correct pricing in the POS system.
- Complete and distribute amenity request forms; follow up on any changes.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Previous experience in luxury F&B setting required
- Self-motivated with demonstrated financial reporting knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in general computer knowledge especially Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Full professional working proficiency in English required, both verbal and non-verbal
- Proven ability to resolve guest concerns
- Highly responsible, reliable and organized
- Previous point of sale system experience an asset
- Of legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervision
- Ability to multi task and work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Reach 1-2 feet
- Remain in stationary position for 2-4 hours throughout work shift, depending on daily task assignment
- Constant standing and walking
- Exert physical effort in carrying items (up to 40 pounds)
- Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
