An excellent Tax Manager (based in Cakung - East Jakarta) job has just arisen at a leading multinational trading company in Jakarta, reporting directly to the CFO of the company.
About the Tax Manager (based in Cakung - East Jakarta) Role:
In this business critical role reporting to CFO, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly tax compliance, tax planning, as well as reviewing and calculating CITR and tax risk management processes in the country in line with the group policy. Based in Cakung - East Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of an established multinational logistics and distribution company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations related to local tax matters, including the determination of tax liabilities and analysis of applicable tax laws
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate developments related to local tax legislation and legal obligations, including changes in tax practices, policies, procedures, or changes in business operations which may require action to be initiated
- Control and supervise the preparation, calculation and filing of tax returns for the payment or refund of taxes
- Manage audit requirements from local tax authorities, ensuring the application of uniform and consistent quality standards across the legal entities under your responsibility
- Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with and develop your staff and manage HR related activities in line with norms and procedures
- Comply with company policies, procedures and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility
- Completely review transfer pricing documentation
- Control and supervise tax operations
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in fiscal administration or related studies
- Previous experience in big 4 tax division is a must
- At least 10 years' experience in tax management or tax consulting including three to five years in a supervisory/managerial level
- Must have transfer pricing knowledge
- Experience handling tax related to joint venture (JV) companies is a plus
- Holder of Brevet A and B and Brevet C
- Experienced in ERP (Oracle) and local tax system
- Knowledge in Indonesian taxation laws and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and have a good ability to work in team environment
- Good attention to detail, good time management and organisational skills
- Fluency in Indonesian and English is a must; solid communication and writing skills
