- Manage production operations to achieve attainment of the production plan by implementing the short-term fixed schedule
- Develop and implement improved work procedures that enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Recommend/implement capital equipment improvements to enhance the capacity, efficiency, and productivity of the means of production.
- Observe "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMP).
- Facilitate an effective employee/labor relations environment within the production unit.
- Maintain appropriate records and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area
- Where applicable, manage supporting warehouse activities.
- Perform other duties as necessary or required.
- Bachelor's degree in major technical field or Management required, Engineering degree preferred OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum of Five (5) years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment required.
- People leadership experience required.
- Multi shift experience preferred.
- TPM/Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred.
- Excel experience required
