- Keeping informed on technical product specifications and functionalities
- Developing a sales strategy and setting sales targets
- Consulting with IT team and management on software or hardware needs adapting to meet the consumer's need
- Identifying marketing opportunities and developing sales leads based on data collected
- Initiating after-sales technical support based on business/sales requirements and feedback
- Tracking sales targets and documenting sales performance metrics
- Ensuring competitiveness by analyzing and researching industry trends
- Ensure sales people to keep up to date with new developments in technology
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology would be advantageous
- A bachelor's or associate's degree in marketing, or a similar qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT sales environment
- Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
- Advanced proficiency in IT industry terminology and jargon
- Ability to liaise with management and IT developers about sales strategies
- Ability to evaluate business/sales feedback and provide after-sales service
- In-depth knowledge of consumer behaviour, as well as industry trends and innovation
- The person taking up the role needs to have sales background (ASM/DSM role)
- Understand the IT set up - ASM+ Consult experience
- Able to bring a business solution expertise
