School Overview: The school offers an Australian standard education as well as the IB Diploma and AIS Graduation Certificate in Jakarta and Bali. With over 500 students, their two well-resourced campuses offer Preschool to Year 12 classes with specialist support for students with learning difficulties, limited English language proficiency or physical disabilities. Campus Overview: The Jakarta school moved to a brand new purpose-built campus in 2021,with students attending from Early Years to Y12. The school offers a stimulating Australian curriculum and is also authorised to teach the IB Diploma Programme to Year 11 and 12. Students at this campus are encouraged to maximise their potential,explore possibilities and take responsibility for their learning. Each student's development is guided by experienced staff working closely in partnership with the student's parents. Counsellors, subject and homeroom teachers provide support and encouragement in the process of working through personal interests, making course selections and career choices.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching Science across all Secondary levels, including the ability to teach IBDP. Prior IBDP experience preferred;
- Ability and/or Experience in teaching the IBDP Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics HL & SL courses would be an advantage, although experience in other Higher Level programs will be considered along with a willingness to undertake IB Diploma training courses;
- Experience in differentiating the curriculum for learners with language and other learning needs.
- Fully qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
- Experience teaching the Australian Curriculum is preferred but not essential
