We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for assisting the country and regional Engineering managers with the bidding and delivery of projects through the use of Design and Engineer best practices in line with Honeywell's Engineering standards and policies. This position is key to ensuring customer satisfaction and application support for the Project Team in the design and delivery of Honeywell's Building Management System (BMS) - where automation & control extends to that of a building's operations - HVAC, Fire Safety, Lighting, Card Access, CCTV and others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary technical resource & customer support for various project sites
- Programming of controllers used in our solution offerings
- Prepare and vet engineering submissions.
- Review drawings and design of network infrastructure
- Installation/review of control system logic in controllers
- Testing & commissioning of software and applications
- Provide Technical & Product support to internal & external customers
- Consultation regarding application of Honeywell's products and technologies
- Review and appraise specifications of projects
- Provide technical support data for the Contracts, Sales, Project and Service teams and help negotiate technical issues at customer level
- Willing to have 2 years of contract period
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related
- Minimum of 5 years' Service/Technical Support experience in Controls/Process Automation or related field, with extensive on-site knowledge
- Knowledge of Automation/Control systems within buildings (HVAC/Fire/Security)
- Background in DDC, PLC and/or HMI based programming preferred
