Job Description
Develop and implement marketing operational plan of the assigned product, monitor application and achievement of marketing program, OTC & Ethical Market assessment and analysis for needs and opportunities, manage product lifecycle compliance to the prevailing local regulations, corporate policy and QEHS in order to achieve the sales target and within the approved advertising and promotional budget.
The scope is for OTC products, especially supplement / multivitamin product.
- Develop budget plan & achieving budget & product profitability. Monitor monthly sales, distribution & promo activities & coordinating with trade promo group to develop tactical plan to ensure achieving monthly budget
- Understand consumer insight, costumer preference and behavior. Develop product market segment, target market & product positioning
- Developing brand building, brand strategy for each brand. Develop marketing strategy, includes product & product portfolio, communication & promo, pricing & profitability & distribution
- Building relationship internally to ensure the business process is working accordingly with: medical sales team, trade marketing for trade promo & distributor communication, sales & distribution group for sales & distribution performance, regulatory & legal for communication, production & supply chain to ensure product availability, finance for payments, pricing & profitability
- Building relationship externally, with doctor, Ad agency, PR agency & media in developing communication strategy, plan, implementation & evaluation. Promo agency in developing promo activities, marketing events & sponsorship. Outlets & consumer to get the “market feel on what is going on currently
- Ensure that all activities are compliance to QEHS policy
- Bachelor Degree in pharmacy / marketing
- 1 - 2 years' experience in product & brand management/ marketing management
- Experiences and understand of OTC and/or Ethical (pharmaceutical) industry business flow
- Marketing skills, creative & team player, strong leadership
- Analysis ability as well as negotiation/communication ability
- English & computer skills
