- This position will reporting to the Global COO and CEO of Indonesia.
- Lead and manage a team of public policy and government relations professionals to develop public policy agendas and strategies.
- Being the ambassador of the company to represent the organisation in its policy positions and opinions to the public, government officials (DJP, MOF, OJK, MOCI and BKF)
- Work together with the VP of Legal and Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) in regulatory compliance and risk management
- Lead the regulatory licensing strategy and application process, working closely with the product development, technology and product legal counsel teams to provide timely support and advice
- Work closely with the stakeholders and management team to establish, maintain and develop relationships with local, state, and national lawmakers
- At least 15 years of experience in government relations, policy and regulatory with relevant high-level exposure to the Ministry of Finance, Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP), and/or Financial Service Authority (OJK)
- Possess a strong understanding of the Indonesian government and regulatory processes, strategies and methods in the context of DJP and DJPb
- Outstanding academic records from top-tier university in Business Taxation, Economics, Finance and/or Public Administration (Master's Degree a plus
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is a must
