Job Description
The role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Global Forwarding team in Jakarta.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Build Business development strategy based on company business strategy and expand the business scale with clients, seek new business in the Logistics industry to contribute to total revenue budget
- Research Market, make sale plan, use marketing tools, and manager tender progress & result
- Conduct visits and calls customers on a regular basis, seeks customer demand, and listens to customer opinions and requests.
- Propose an efficient logistics solution/proposal that meets the needs of the customer
- Manage costs - Negotiate with concerned parties and get more competitive rate
- Review contracts and manage the sales process efficiently
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
- 5 years minimum sales experience in global forwarding
- In-depth knowledge of logistics industry products and services
- Demonstrated sales success and knowledge of sales concepts, methods, and techniques
- Demonstrated success in developing sales plans, analysing profitability of prospects, and the ability to understand the competitive influences and risks associated with individual accounts
- Ability to read, write and speak English & local language fluently.
