Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Sr. Content Writer who is a goal-oriented, self-motivated leader with excellent written & oral communication skills. You tie together all the individual parts of your content strategy – writing, SEO, promotion, analysis, and optimization – with a clearly defined content workflow. You are responsible for the management of the creation and production of online and offline marketing content based on specific goals & objectives.The ideal candidate will collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives in the most efficient manner.

What will you do?
- Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
- Writing and editing a wide variety of content types, including sales enablement, video, articles, and long-form content.
- Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
- This role requires a brand publisher mindset: Create the content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path to conversion.
- Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive the brand to demand.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style, and layout
- Write clean, concise, well-polished copy, review & edit content produced by the team, ensuring consistent messages.
- Continuously measure and improve content performance
- Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines.
- Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels, including championing the increased use of data visualization.
Requirements
What do you have?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline. MBA is preferable from premier Universities
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct copywriting or producing content building audiences either online or offline
- You have exposure to Fintech and /or Digital marketplace products and have a background in an early-stage consumer-facing product company.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities consistently meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing—with the ability to be persuasive
- Contribute to social media postings and management of social media accounts and
- Work with product marketing and sales, develop content strategies and materials to support the sales cycle
- Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications
- Experience with Web Content Management Systems, HTML, Marketo, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
- Ability to create, update, and maintain training documents
- Channel specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter etc.) preferable
