Job Purpose and Impact
The Carrier Support Service Specialist will receive and process freight invoices to ensure invoices are proceeded accurately and timely via appropriate system and processes. In this role, you will be contact for carriers for different modes on all questions and around freight invoices.
Key Accountabilities
- Receive, analyze, and validate incoming invoices or costs for transport to meet contract and legal requirements
- Solicit, collect and organize documentation and data and enter routine data into one or more systems.
- Ensure and control invoice payment aligned with information in the system and communicates freight invoices to Finance team to resolve issues.
- Perform administrative or clerical duties in support of the shipment execution process and complete tasks using industry standard procedures.
- Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Understanding knowledge in export import shipment activity, transportation process
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Have 2-3 years with relevant experience in transportation or forwarding company
- Familiar with ERP, expecially SAP in FICO module would be advantage
