- Perform routine metallurgical testing (micro / macro examinations) Involvement in site / field testing
- Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements
- Prepare and operate all equipment necessary to perform testing in the Metallurgical Lab
- Performs daily verifications and adjusts equipment baselines accordingly
- Performs standard and non standard metallurgical evaluations
- Maintains testing equipment for operation and performs routine housekeeping tasks associated with the area(s) trouble shooting as necessary
- Degree/Diploma in Metallurgy or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing
- Good knowledge on international standards and codes
- Excellent report writing skill
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated team playing with excellent organisational and communication skills
