Purpose
You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the mechanical design integrity is not compromised while executing a project
- Supervision of other mechanical engineers and designers assigned to him on a project
- Lead Mechanical engineering team on projects
- Forecast requirements for mechanical engineering resources on project assigned
- Mechanical design integrity of works cope and maintenance of standards
- Identify software necessary to enable the mechanical team on the project to function effectively
- Inter-discipline communication
- Prepare specifications, data sheets, requisitions, technical bid analysis and vendor data review of various static equipment
- Prepare mechanical man-hour estimate to perform project tasks
- Check compliance with QA / Safety / Environment roles
- Promote client understanding and confidence in the mechanical team assigned to him on the projects
- Manage mechanical design and any design changes within budget and schedule
- Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable Shared
- Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives shared
- Identify and review new technology developments which could be applicable in providing more cost effective solutions Shared
- Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience 15 years in the similar capacity with the focus being on Onshore and offshore oil and gas
- Onshore Projects with Gas Compression and Power Plant experience is mandatory
- High performer with global experience
- Has completed various large-scale projects on-time
- Willing to work on single status and eligible to work in Indonesia, with contract 12 months with potential extension
