Responsible for Domestic and Offshore Corporate Action event. Responsibilities include:
Domestic Corporate Action
- Monitor mandatory and voluntary announcement
- Monitor reconciliation of mandatory and voluntary event
- Monitor payment of mandatory and voluntary event
- Monitor FX transaction related to Corporate Action event/income
- Monitor FX supporting document related to Corporate Action event/income
- Monitor market claim related to Corporate Action event
- Monitor conversion of shares (from script to script less and vice versa)
- Monitor client’s instruction on Corporate Action event
- Monitor mandatory and voluntary announcement
- Monitor reconciliation of mandatory and voluntary event
- Monitor payment of mandatory and voluntary event
- Monitor funding of mandatory and voluntary event
- Monitor queries to custodian/agent
- Monitor client’s instruction on Corporate Action event
- Monitor cash reconciliation of Corporate Action suspense
- Monitor stock reconciliation related to Corporate Action event on Domestic and International Custody
- Monitor cash reconciliation on Offshore cash account related to Corporate Action Event
- Consolidate and submit internal reports (monthly KPI) in timely manner.
- Submit regulatory reports in timely manner
- Consolidate data requirements from auditors (internal/external).
- Liaise with third party (i.e Registrar/issuer/counterparty) for any corporate action requirement
- Identify potential issues and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Various teams within Securities Services, Operational Risk and other departments
- Refer to Role Specific Technical Competencies.
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Work experience in Custodian or Capital Market industry.
- Skills: good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
